Executive search & critical hiring

Leadership decisions.
Built on evidence.

Critical appointments carry consequences for growth, continuity and execution.

We begin with the business requirement, assess relevant operating experience and build a considered case for each person we introduce.

Selected mandates

Judgement, made visible.

The business context. The search decision. The appointment that followed.

India market entry

One brief.
Two leadership appointments.

An international buying house establishing its India office needed a Lead Design leader who could interpret an evolving brief and build within the realities of a new operation.

We presented a focused shortlist. The client appointed one candidate to the original role and created another leadership role around a second candidate’s capabilities.

Operating leadership

An overlooked profile.
A COO appointment.

A promoter-led business had been trying to close its COO mandate for months. The eventual appointee’s CV had already reached the organisation and been overlooked.

We assessed the operating relevance, engaged the candidate around the overseas move and presented a leadership synopsis explaining why the profile deserved reconsideration.

Reported outcome

The company interviewed and hired the candidate. HiredNext reports that the leader remained with the organisation for more than four years.

A chairman’s brief · Indonesia

A chairman’s long view.
One carefully chosen recommendation.

An Indonesia-based chairman wanted someone he could develop towards CEO responsibility over time: entrepreneurial, commercially minded, capable of managing people and ready to relocate from India within a disciplined compensation budget.

Close to 40 profiles were screened out internally. Taru spoke with the candidate to assess the fit and satisfy herself about his readiness for the opportunity. Once convinced, she recommended him alone.

Selected · Relocation in preparation

The chairman was close to appointing someone through an internal referral. After meeting HiredNext’s recommendation, he chose this candidate for the role. The candidate is now preparing to relocate from India to Indonesia and take up the appointment.

A title can travel across industries. The conditions for success rarely do.

The business brief.
Then the shortlist.

Every introduction should come with a reasoned view of the fit, the evidence and the questions still to resolve.

How we conduct a search

For a structured selection process, use our framework for comparing recruitment partners in India.

  1. Define the business requirement.

The outcomes expected, decision authority, stakeholder expectations and operating conditions that will shape success.

  2. Map the relevant market.

Target organisations, adjacent talent pools, compensation realities and the reasons the right person would move.

  3. Test relevance and motivation.

Actual contribution, leadership scope, decisions and motivation, with clear questions where the evidence needs further examination.

  4. Stay accountable through joining.

Decision support, interview alignment and expectation management through offer, notice period and transition.
